Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusion is offered:1. Respondents
are male dominated and is presently studying in the mid location of Villasis, Pangasinan, their
siblings is in the category of 1-4 which is categorized as small family, basically their parents
are engaged to farming and in business since Villasis is one of the capital business industry in
Pangasinan, and belong to Roman Catholicism. 2. Pupils’ foremost problem in studying
HEKASI is in the subject content, they find it slightly difficult, since the subject is an integration
of the three minors subject in elementary such as Heograpinya, Kasaysayan at Sibika.3. The
teaching materials used by the teachers in teaching HEKASI is sufficient yet still need variety,
innovative materials that will supplement the teaching and learning the subject.4. Methods
used by the teachers in teaching HEKASI are usual way. Thus, the pupils of today’s generation
need more encouraging and different technique of studying HEASKI subject.5. Development of
supplementary work text in necessary in teaching HEKASI.
Based on the findings and conclusions, the following recommendations are offered.
1. Encourage more students to study so that they can have better future, and educate them
about the benefits of having lesser siblings in the family. 2. Motivate the pupils to study and
appreciate more the subject, HEKASI so as not to find it, “slightly difficult”, but interesting to
study. 3. Encourage and inspire the teachers handling HEKASI subjects to be more innovative,
and inventive in teaching their subject. 4. Encourage teachers to prepare, organize their teaching
methods and strategies 5. The development of supplementary work text in HEKASI is very

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN THE
PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

This study determined the extent of classroom management practices among public
elementary school teachers in the two districts of Villasis I and II in the division of Pangasinan II
SY 2013-2014.
Specifically, this study sought to determine the following: 1) profile of the respondents
in terms of age, sex, highest educational attainment, length of service, relevant trainings and
area of expertise; 20 the extent of classroom management practices by the respondents: 3)
significant differences in the extent of classroom management practices by the respondents
across their profile variables.
The hypothesis of the study was tested in its null forms at 0.05 level of significance.
There is no significant difference between the extent of classroom management practices and
the profile variables namely: age, sex, highest educational attainment, length of service, relevant
training attended and area of expertise.
Further, the following are the findings of this study: 1) with regards to the respondents profile
