The parents and patients demonstrated a judicious practice of the practices along the signs
and symptoms, causes, transmission, treatment, and prevention of acute gastroenteritis which
likewise recommend further health education. The problems encountered by the patients and
the parents were reasonable enough and were attended to using practical efforts; however they
still need a more extensive education regarding the signs and symptoms of acute gastroenteritis
in order to attain a highly satisfactory result. The intervention program was designed to hopefully
increase the level of awareness and improve the practices of the respondents in the management
             of acute gastroenteritis.
On the recommendation, that the diverse profile of the parents and patients should be
considered by the members of the health team when conducting health education to facilitate
better acquisition of information relative to acute gastroenteritis. The members of the health
team should strengthen health education to increase the extent of awareness of the parents and
patients in the management of acute gastroenteritis.
