by the Kindergarten teachers, the significant difference between the extent of utilization of
teaching styles and approaches by the Kindergarten teachers across profile variables and the
significant relationship between the extent of utilization of teaching styles and approaches by
the Kindergarten teachers and their profile variables.
The descriptive - correlational method of research was employed and the questionnaire
checklist was used in gathering the data. To address the problems of this study, the statistical
measures were used for data analysis and interpretations. These are the frequency counts (f)
and percentage (%) the average weighted means, the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and the
Pearson product moment of coefficient correlation (r) were used.
The findings are summarized in order of which the problems are raised and the
hypothesis posed in this study, 1) Majority of the respondents belong to age bracket 21 – 30,
that is 17 or 47.2 percent, female dominated that is 32 or 88.9 percent, married, 25 or 69.4
percent, have been in the service for 6 – 10 years that is 23 or 63.9 percent of them, had
masteral units that is 20 or 56.5 percent of them and attended relevant trainings in the division
level that is 15 or 41.7 percent 2) the extent of utilization of the teaching styles and approaches
an overall weighted means of 4.27 and 4.39 respectively denoting a descriptive equivalent rating
of “Very Effective” 3) There’s no significant difference between the extent of utilization of the
teaching styles and approaches by the Kindergarten teachers across the profile variables and 4)
There’s no significant relationship between the extent of utilization of the teaching styles and
approaches by the Kindergarten teachers and their profile variables.
Based on the aforecited findings in this study, the following conclusions were formulated.
1) The kindergarten teachers of Villasis Districts are in their early adulthood equipped with
relevant educational qualifications and trainings and practically young in the service. 2) The
kindergarten teachers of Villasis Districts are very good in the delivery of instruction when it
comes to the utilization of the teaching styles and approaches kindergarten classes. 3) The
profile variables of the respondents are comparable in the extent of utilization of the teaching
styles and approaches. 4) The extent of utilization of the teaching styles and approaches is not
associated with the profile variables of the respondents.
Based on the findings and conclusions of this study, the researches arrived at the
following recommendations: 1) Since majority of the Kindergarten teachers have just earned
their masteral units, all concerned teachers should be encouraged to hone their professional
