                        REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH PRACTICES AMONG MOTHERS

                    This  study dealt on  the reproductive health practices  among  patients of Dr.  Jose
             Fabella Memorial hospital admitted last December, 2014. It focused on their personal profle that
             includes their age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, occupation, monthly family income
             and services availed in the hospital. It also dealt on the reproductive health practices along
             safe motherhood, family planning, cervical cancer and sexually transmitted disease prevention.
             Descriptive  research  design  was  used  utilizing  the  questionnaire  as  the  main  gathering
             instrument. Statistical tools include frequency counts and percentage and the weighted mean.
                    Based on the gathered data the following are the salient findings:  Majority of the
             respondents were in the age bracket of 31 years old and above, single, high school graduate,
             housewife, with an income of below P5,000 pesos a month and mostly availed the service on
             normal spontaneous delivery. On the reproductive health practices along safe motherhood, it
             was found out to be practice; family planning was rated as moderately practiced; cervical cancer
             prevention as slightly practiced and sexually transmitted diseases as moderately practiced and
             overall was found to be moderately practiced. A proposed program was prepared to improve the
             reproductive health practices among patients
                    Based  on  the  findings  of  the  study,  the  following  conclusions  are  offered:  Most  of
             the respondents were adults without undergoing the sanctity of marriage, finished up to the
             secondary level of education, confined at home looking after their kids, earning income below
             the poverty level and delivered their children in the hospital The mothers were not utilizing
             fully the different areas in reproductive health and needs to be improve for a more healthy
             reproductive life. The proposed program is offered for adaption
                        Based on the conclusions of the study, the following are hereby recommended; Mothers
             must understand all about reproductive health and to avail the services of the hospital since
             it is intended for the indigent who can’t afford to go to private institutions of health care. The
             respondents must undergo intensive orientation on the different areas of reproductive health for
             them to understand the concepts and thereby preventing the occurrences of reproductive health
             problems. The proposed program can be submitted to the hospital administration for adaption
             and implementation
