professional profile of Rural Health Unit and the staff of Rosario district hospital in terms of
age, sex, civil status, highest educational attainment, position, length of service, and areas of
assignment; problem number 2 dealt on effectiveness of implementation of NHBP along objectives
and activities, problem number 3 dealt on the problems encountered in the implementation of
the NHBP of the DOH.
The finding showed that the respondents have difficulty in dealing with patients
with low educational background therefore it is recommended that they should be trained in
strategies of health education to determine measures on how to affect effectively deal with
patient of low educational level. The success of the progress lies on acceptance of the clientele
on one way of promoting acceptance is through proper health educations and counseling. Given
their low literacy level, yet higher level of language and communications skills, communication
to adult community may limit to oral, visual and multi media. The community would be able to
receive and comprehend the message converged only if it is understand the language use in
communications. It has to be the one that community understand and its comfortable with in
face to face interaction. Moreover cultural belief and norms counter to facility deliveries.
Conclusions confirmed that the effectiveness of NHBP of DOH were middle aged ,
female, had diploma of Midwifery and staff nurses employed at Rosario District Hospital, the
overall implementation of the NHBP at RHU in municipality of Sison and Rosario District Hospital
is highly effective. Some of the problems encountered by the respondent in the implementation
of the NHBP are moderately serious. A proposed program was developed.
Based on finding and conclusions, the researcher came up with the recommendations:
the health worker should ensure that NHBP activities are carried out to meet the objective and
implement as well the activities, continue to encourage and promote facility based deliveries.
The health care workers should advance their skills, so that they may be able to deal effectively
with their clients. The local government unit must continually impose legal mandate of the NHBP
and intensify campaign efforts to promote facility based deliveries and adop0t the proposed
intervention measures.
EXTENT OF KNOWLEDGE ON HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS

This study determined the extent of knowledge on Human Papilloma Virus at Manaoag
Community Hospital and Mapandan Community Hospital. The respondents’ profile and extent of
knowledge on HPV along its causes, signs and symptoms, medical management, and prevention
were determined. The respondents were composed of the patients and the hospital personnel
at the two government institutions. It was determined whether or not there is a significant
difference in the knowledge on HPV and the respondent’s profile variables..
The following were the findings of this study: Most of the hospitalized or examined
patients in the hospitals are female. Most of the patients are 41 years old and above, are
