                              1. When an alarm occurs, the audible indicator works correctly.
                                 Yes    No
                                  ↓      → Replace the Master Module (refer to procedure 4.2 on page 4-
                                            10). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-
                                            7. Otherwise, call Hill-Rom Technical Support at (800) 445-          2
                                            3720.

               2.30 No Audible Signal on the Area Alarm


                              1. When an alarm occurs, the audible indicator works correctly.
                                 Yes    No
                                  ↓      → Replace the Area Alarm P.C. board located on the back of the
                                            front panel (refer to procedure 4.8 on page 4-24). If this solves
                                            the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, call
                                            Hill-Rom Technical Support at (800) 445-3720.

                              2. Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.


               2.31 No Audible Signal on the Local Alarm

                              1. The Local Alarm audible indicator does not work.

                                 Yes    No
                                  ↓      → Go to “Final Actions” on page 2-7.

                              2. The wiring from the Local Alarm P.C. board on the back of the front panel
                                 to the buzzer is connected.
                                 Yes    No
                                  ↓      → Connect the buzzer’s wiring (refer to procedure 4.14 on page 4-
                                            38). If this solves the problem, go to “Final Actions” on page 2-
                                            7. Otherwise, go to step 3.

                              3. The buzzer works properly.

                                 Yes    No
                                  ↓      → Replace the buzzer. If this solves the problem, go to “Final
                                            Actions” on page 2-7. Otherwise, call Hill-Rom Technical
                                            Support at (800) 445-3720.
