their research and receive quality feedback in return. Crotty (2014) intentionally

                        designed this stage to incorporate a performance element, with the belief that
                        presenting the multimedia resource and research findings publicly hones the

                        researcher’s focus and abilities. These social-validation meetings further supported
                        my value of collaboration and co-creating knowledge.



                        4. Transform:
                        Once the ‘Parent Learning Zone’ was implemented and accessible to our school

                        parents, I was then able to begin measuring the impact of the research and provide
                        evidence of how the research transformed my workplace. Data and information was

                        gathered primarily using a qualitative approach. Some quantitative analyses were

                        used to supplement the qualitative data. Throughout this stage I describe how this
                        process has also transformed me as a person, both professionally and personally as

                        per Crotty’s (2014) approach that emphasises a transformative change within oneself
                        as well as enhancing the researcher’s workplace.
