ON THE JOB INJURIES AND INCIDENTS
You are covered under our worker’s compensation insurance policy. In the event of a qualified
injury or illness arising out of and in the course of employment, workers’ compensation
insurance provides for the payment of medical expenses and partial salary continuation.
Waiting periods and compensation amounts vary by state.
If you are injured or become ill on the job, you must immediately notify your on-site supervisor
and the Human Resource Service Team, regardless of whether medical treatment is required. If
immediate care is needed, proceed to the nearest treatment facility and contact your on-site
supervisor and the Human Resource Service Team immediately following treatment.
Notification must be provided within 24 hours of the incident. Failure to report an injury or
illness in a timely manner may result in the appropriate workers’ compensation report not
being filed in accordance with the law, which may consequently jeopardize your right to
benefits in connection with the injury or illness.
Employees must submit to a post-accident/incident drug screen within 24 hours of a work-
related injury or illness. The Human Resource Service Team will provide you with the form
required by the drug testing facility as well as a list of available testing sites. Employees may
refuse to consent to post-accident/incident substance abuse testing, with the understanding
that refusal to do so will result in immediate termination of employment.
DRIVING AND TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS
We deeply value the safety and well-being of our Employees. Due to the risk of motor vehicle
accidents resulting from traffic congestion, unsafe driving habits, road conditions and
distraction, this Driving and Traffic Violation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all Employees who
operate a motor vehicle on company business.
If you drive more than 30% of your work day, you should request a copy of this Policy from their
manager.
