What are those metal braces called that you fix across the
back of shelf units to stabilise them? I’m holding the
shelves up with one hand and unsuccessful Googling:
shelf brace, cross bar, back support.... with the other.

I’ve tried "shelf brackets" But I’m just getting the actual
brackets you use to put shelves up on the wall. I’m just
after the cross shaped thing that fastens across the back
of the unit to stabilise it. You know so it doesn’t sway
back n forth. We’ve screwed some wooden struts across
the back for now.

When you’re sat working at your desk and hear an omi-
nous sound of impending doom creaking, splintering and
finally crashing behind you as your entire room collapses
into a heap of smashed up disaster! .....and as it was all
falling my instinct was to reach out n CATCH it. Then I
was sat there holding up wall to wall, floor to ceiling full
to capacity shelf units thinking "Ah Crap! am I going to
have to sit here?"
