6 August 2015 —
It was my Beautiful friend’s funeral today & even though
she isn’t here physically, once again - just like always - she
brought love and friendship to me and loads of other
people. I wasn’t surprised by the huge number of people
that turned out to remember her today. The church was
packed and people crowded the porch, the steps & even
spilled out into the car park for the service. In particular I
noticed a young woman who had travelled all the way
from London for the funeral. Apparently she had cared
for her during her time working in children’s homes. Not
only was there a huge NUMBER of people but there was
a VAST DIVERSITY of people too. Her only criteria
were kindness. She never judged anyone. As we
remembered her today I heard lots of people exclaim
that they hadn’t realised their friend, neighbour or
colleague also knew her. This was a testament not just to
the fact that she was so popular but the fact that she was
deeply empathic & trustworthy. Despite having her own
struggles, she took on other people’s problems & never
betrayed anyone’s trust. Today, people came together and
they found comfort, rekindled friendships & were
positively inspired - all thanks to her, who proved that -
