separation from wayward Christians, the apostle
Paul told the Corinthian believers in 1
Corinthians 5:11, “But now I have written
unto you not to keep company, if any man
that is called a brother be a fornicator, or
covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a
drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one
no not to eat” — and there are no exception
clauses in any of the above verses that would
exclude family members from those
exhortations.
From what I’ve observed, however, after
being made aware of scripture verses on
separation and from what that pastor
indirectly implied by his demeanor and his
reversal of support of my difficult decision,
