Appliances
Appliances are typically rented to meet an immediate need, so matching the right
appliance to the customer’s planned usage is critical. Here are some good examples of
questions to ask a customer looking for a new appliance:
• How many people are in your family?
• What puts you in the market for a refrigerator?
• Do you wash a lot of jeans or towels?
• Do you buy groceries in bulk? WELCOME & ORIENTATION / TRAINING ROADMAP
• How much freezer space do you think you need?
• What do you like/not like about your current washer / fridge / stove?
Write down three more questions that could help you discover what your customer’s
needs are while they look for an appliance?
