Malay Food

               1. Jala Bread

               As the name suggests, this traditional food is shaped like a net. This jalabread may be similar to
               typical Indian food. Usually served with curry sauce, at the Deli, roti jala is served with goat
               curry and pickled pineapple. Of course the taste doesn't need to be asked again, it's definitely
               delicious and makes you want to add more.

               2. Asidah

               The next typical Malay food is asidah, one of the typical cakes that has a sweet taste. The texture
               of this asidah is soft, some of the ingredients used to make it use spices such as cloves,
               cinnamon, and pandan leaves, so it has a delicious aroma.

               Although the cake has a sweet taste, the presentation of this cake is quite unique, you know.
               Usually served with a sprinkling of fried onions on top.

               3. Cake Rise

               This rising cake is quite unique, the naming of this cake is due to the process of swelling during
               the baking dough in the oven. So, the cake dough is baked in the oven, after the baking process,
               the dough will rise to twice its previous size.

               The color of this cake is white with a small red dot in the middle. It feels like? Of course
               delicious, with the right sweetness, soft texture, and melts when it goes into the mouth.

               4. Roti Canai

               One of the favorite foods for Malaysians is roti canai. This circular and flat bread is usually eaten
               in the morning, afternoon, evening, and evening. Friends enjoying roti canai are usually Teh
               Tarik or Teh Ais. Roti canai is served with dal sauce, parpu, or curry, don't forget the anchovy
               fish sauce as a complement.

               5. Bolu Kemojo

               Kemojo cake is a typical food of the new week which was popularized by Dinawati's mother in
               1998. At first, this sponge was only made for family consumption and was not sold as souvenirs
               typical of Pekanbaru.

               Although initially only for family consumption, but over time, this chemojo cake has actually
               become a souvenir from Pekanbaru.

               6. Fish Sale

               Salai fish is a typical Malay food made from fish and is one of the favorites of the Riau people
               who live around the river. Salai fish is a food made from fresh fish which is then dried by
               smoking. It certainly tastes delicious with the smell of smoke from the fumigation that is done.
