Abstrak: Government Efforts in Developing Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises (MSME) in South Tapanuli Regency (Case Study of Sipirok
Weaving). The government's efforts in developing micro, small and medium
enterprises can ideally be carried out well, but in fact the government's efforts in
developing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) have not yet reached
the ideal. This study aims to determine how the government's role in the
development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) Weaving in
Sipirok District. This research approach is a descriptive qualitative approach,
namely the approach taken to analyze the data by presenting, describing, or
describing the data that has been collected as it is without intending to make it
applicable to the public, and interpreting the research results. Data collection
techniques used are through observation, interviews and documentation. Based
on the results of the author's research, the government's efforts in developing
micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in South Tapanuli Regency (case
study of Sipirok Weaving) are six, namely maximizing the potential that exists
in the community, facilitating access to markets, collaborating with banks both
public and private. ease of obtaining formal legality, guarantee of protection and
business continuity, utilizing technology for the development of MSME. The
main role that affects the development of micro, small and medium enterprises
(MSME) in South Tapanuli Regency (case study of Sipirok Weaving) is to
maximize the potential that exists in Public.
