4) Pull out the driver side splined shaft with its key stock and the aluminum spline shaft spacer. Be
sure not to misplace the key stock or the aluminum spline shaft spacer. Note the tapered edge of
the aluminum spline shaft spacer. It is very important that the tapered edge face the driven
bearing when you are ready to re-assemble the system.
5) Place the driver side splined shaft back through the gearbox and engage the splines back in to
the bearing. Thread the 1/2-13 x 1” fastener with the 1-1/2” OD flat washer back in to the shaft,
but do not re-tighten since you will need to remove it again once you are ready to re-assemble
the drive system.
