Chapter 4 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Bulkhead Block and Utilities
7) Tighten the tie straps from the center of the two boom arms back toward the wall in the same
manner that the lines are tied on the machine mount arm.
8) Slide the Parallel Mount Assembly to the position that captures the lines best and tighten the
clamp into place.
9) Once all the lines are tightened inside the boom channels, it is time to set the loop on the wall
mount bracket. If it is possible to run the lines up 1 to 2 feet and then drop down to the wall
mount, this will help with the bend transition from exit to entrance of the bay. If this is possible to
do then the loop should look something like the picture below.
If it is not possible to run the lines up, then make the loop on the machine look something like the
image also shown below.
10) When setting the loop at the wall, the poly-flow tubes and the motor wires can all be neatly tied
together. Leave the water hoses untied from the other lines; it is possible to put a large tie strap
loosely around all the lines to help make the loop look neater.
11) Move the machine from entrance to exit with the lines hooked up and make sure all the bends
look acceptable. In areas where the hoses look like they may rub, it may be necessary to put
some type of hose protector around the lines to protect them.
