Installation

Loading ShineMitt™ Material on Lower Hubs

Note: On the lower hubs, the ShineMitt™ material on the bottom row has a longer lead then the
material used in the upper rows; be sure to load the appropriate material in this row to prevent
premature wear of the cleaning material.

Note: It is imperative that the ShineMitt™ cleaning material is loaded onto the lower hub of the
driver side and passenger side SideWinders® in the directions specified to properly clean the
vehicle and to prevent damage to the equipment and/ or vehicle.

1) Remove the Hub Caps from the Lower Hub on the driver and passenger side SideWinder®
assemblies.

2) Locate the ShineMitt™ Cleaning Material for the Lower Hubs. There should be a total of 16
pieces of the Long Lead ShineMitt™ (111046) and 64 pieces of the Short Lead ShineMitt™
(111060) for the SideWinder® assemblies.

3) The ShineMitts™ with the long lead are to be loaded onto the Lower Hubs first.

4) The ShineMitt™ material is loaded onto the Lower Hub by inserting the clips on the ShineMitt™
into a slot on the Hub.
