Installation

Loading ShineMitt™ Material on Lower Hubs

5) The ShineMitt™ on the driver side and passenger side SideWinders® are to face in opposite
directions of one another. Before loading the ShineMitts™ orient them so that the cleaning
fingers face in the directions specified in the images below.

For the Lower Hubs, fill the 1 and last slots

in each of the four (4) Hub Skin Sections.

Driver Side Make sure that the fill is facing in the correct Passenger Side
direction on driver and passenger side hubs.
6) Insert the Long Lead ShineMitt™ into the first and last slot of each hub section of the Lower Hub
this fill pattern is shown in the images above.
7) Make sure to slide the ShineMitts™ all the way down to the bottom of the hub.

Note: Verify that the ShineMitt™ material on the Driver Side SideWinder® adequately clears the
guiderail of the conveyor.

8) For the 2 through 5 rows on the Lower Hubs install the Short Lead ShineMitt™ material in the
same orientation and pattern as explained in steps 5 and 6 above.

9) Reinstall the Hub Caps onto the Lower Hubs.
