When I returned to

were we right. The club actually told us
that they had never seen a Dobermann with
that much drive. A huge compliment from a
German Shepherd Club.
I took a break from the show circuit between
2010 and 2014 as I had a family.

Babushka. Bella
and I enjoyed the
return to the ring.
Catching up with all
that had changed in
the few years that
I was away. We
travelled to Manchester
Championship Show
and Bella gained her
Stud book number on
her first trip to the UK.
Bella was also awarded
6 Green Stars in 2016
and the first show we
entered in 2017, Bella
was awarded her final
Green Star to become
an Irish Champion.
My First Homebred Bitch Champion. Bella
was retired at the end of 2017 and was
Top Dobermann and Annual Champion.
Her great granny Maddi (Irish Champion
Doberlane Glory Seka at Samenco, JW)
missed out of this title by one point in 2004.
Bella had her one and only litter in Septmber
2018. I kept a daughter and son of Bella’s.
Jade, Samenco Electra and Hunter,
Samenco Alter Ego. Jade and Hunter
were lightly shown in 2019, at their first
show on Paddy’s day Hunter was awarded
Best Puppy in Breed and gained the title
Celtic Puppy Winner 2019. Jade was 2nd
in her class. Jade went on to gain her Irish
Junior title in 2019 she was 9 months old.
Dog shows are currently stopped due to
Covid and as we all head into uncertain
times with regards to dog shows, I look back
over my 23 years and I’m thankful for the
dogs I have owned and the successes they
have had and I wouldn’t change a thing.
May the next 23 years be as memorable
and as successful.
