Çré Vraja-réti-cintämaëi

                              säkñäd-aväptiç ca tathänavädyä
                              sadyo bhavaty eva vadanti vidyäù


               yayoù—of whom; vilokena—by the sight; tayoù—of Them; pratétiù—
               belief; tayoù—of Them; iva—like; syät—is; anubhüti—of direct
               perception; bhütiù—manifestation; säkñät—direct; aväptiù—attainment;
               ca—also; tatha—in that way; anavädyä—perfect; sadyaù—at once;
               bhavati—is; eva—certainly; vadanti—say; vidyäù—the learned.

            By seeing these two lakes, Rädhä and Kåñëa believe They are present
            in them. It is as if They directly see each other there. The wise say
            that by approaching these lakes one directly approaches Rädhä and
            Kåñëa.

                             dvayoù sudurlabhyatayä yadi syät
                              parasparotkaëöhita-bhüri-bhäräù
                            dväv eva yad dvandva-samäçrayätaü
                               paraspara-präpti-rasäti-siktau


               dvayoù—of the divine couple; sudurlabhyatayä—with the difficulty of
               meeting; yadi-if; syät—is; paraspara—mutual; utkaëöhita-bhüri-bhäräù—
               the great burden of longings; dvau—both; eva—certainly; ; yat—because;
               dvandva—of the Couple;  samäçrayatau—shelters; paraspara—mutual;
               präpti—attainment; rasa—nectar; ati—much; siktau—sprinkled.

            Longing to meet, but forced to remain separate, Rädhä and Kåñëa
            assumed the forms of Rädhä-kuëòa and Çyäma-kuëòa. In this way
            They become splashed with the nectar of meeting each other.

                            rädhaiva kuëòaà dravatäà gatäbhüt
                              kåñëekñaëänanda-bhareëa manye
                             kåñëo 'pi rädhekñaëa-moda-bhärät
                             tenaiva tan-näma-guëäd dvi-kuëòé


               rädhä—Çrématé Rädhäräëi; eva—certainly;  kuëòam—alake; dravatäm—
               liquidity; gata—attained; abnhut—was; kåñëa—of Çré Kåñëa; ikñaëa-from
