Çré Vraja-réti-cintämaëi

               groves; puïjaù—many; yeñu—in which; ullasanti—splendidly manifest;
               bhramara—of bumble-bees; ali—of hosts;guïjäù—the buzzing.

            Far to the south is Govinda-kunda, the lake of Lord Govinda, the
            husband of the goddess of fortune. Around this lake are many groves
            filled with buzzing bees.



                                         Text 73

                           yad brahma-kuëòaà çiva-koëa-tuëòaà
                             samantatas tasya ca kuïja-puïjaù
                                yad-uttare sa ñaò-açoka-väöé
                            ghaöéva yä tad dvaya-dhairya-luëöhe


               yat-which; brahma-kundam—Brahma-kunda; siva-koëa-tuëòam—in the
               north; samantataù—in all directions; tasya—of that; ca—also; kuïja—
               of groves; puïjaù—multitudes; yat—which; uttare—in the north; sa—
               that; çaö—transcendental; açoka—of asoka trees; väöé—grove; ghaté—
               highwayman; iva—-like; ya—which; tat—that; dvaya—of the Divine
               Couple; dhairya—the composure; kuëöhe—stealing.

             To the north is Brahma-kuëòa, surrounded by many pleasant groves.
            To the north of Brahma-kuëòa is an açoka grove that enchants the
            divine couple and, as a thief, has stolen away their peaceful gravity.

                                 gopéça éçaù sa tad-éça-koëe
                               gopé-janänäà varado 'rcanéyaù
                              çré-kåñëa-saìgäya yathä sa düöé-
                                jano vinodena mano dhinoti


               gopé—of the gopés; éçaù—the master; éçaù-Lord Çiva; saù—this; tat—
               of Him; éça-koëe—in the north; gopé—janänäm—of the gopés; vara-
               daù—the granter of benediction; arcanéyaù—the object of worship; çré-
               kåñëa—with Çré Kåñëa; saìgäya—for association; yathä—just as; saù—he;
               düöé-janaù—messenger; vinodena—with pastimes; manah—the mind;
               dhinoti—satisfies.
