                               süryäspade naiåta-koëa-kande
                             kuëòotthavat-kuïja-nikuïja-puïje
                              çré-rädhikä sürya-samarcanäyai
                                navä javä räjati räga-phullä


               süryäsya—of the sun-god; aspade—in the abode naiåta-koëa-kande—in
               the southwest; kuëòa—jamsine flowers; utha—blossoming; vat—with;
               kuïja-nikuïja—with groves; puïje—filled; çré-rädhikä—by Çrématé
               Rädhäräëi; sürya—the sun-god; samarcanäyai—for the worship; navä—
               fresh; javä—rose; räjati—is splendidly manifest; räga—with red; phullä—
               blossoms.

            To the southwest, in a jasmine garden, is Süryäspada, where Çré
            Rädhikä worships the sun-god with a newly-blossomed red rose.

                              väyavya-koëe ca kadamba-müle
                             yä bhadrakäly asti tad-arcanäyam
                               sä gopa-kanyädika-céra-cittaà
                                cauré cakärästi ca céra-coraù


               väyavya-koëe—in the northwest; ca—also; kadamba—of a kadamba tree;
               müle—at the root; yä—which; bhadrakälé—Bhadrakälé; asti—is; tat—of
               her; arcanä yam—for the worship; sä—this; gopa—of the cowherd men;
               kanya—of the daughters; céra—for a long time; cittam—consciousness;
               cauré—thief; cakärä—did; asti—was; céra—of the garments; coraù—thief.
            In the northwest is Bhadrakälé-tértha, where at the base of a kadamba
            tree the gopés worshiped the goddess for a long time, and where the
            thief Kåñëa stole the gopés' garments.
