Çré Vraja-réti-cintämaëi

            One time, when Çré Kåñëa had gone a little distance from Vaàçévaöa,
            a gentle (dhéra) breeze (saméra) sprang up from His flute playing.
            That place became known as Dhéra-saméra-tértha.

                                         Text 84

                              samantato yadyapi bhäti kåñëa-
                                kåñëänurägä pulinäni tasyäù
                              tathaiva sarvatra tathäpi vaàçé-
                              vaöo 'ntimäny eva naöanti manye

               samantataù—in all directions; yadyapi—although; bhäti—is splendidly
               manifest; kåñëa—of the Yamunä river; kåñëa— for Lord Kåñëa; anurägä—
               with love; pulinäni—the shores; tasyaù—of that; tathä—in that way;
               eva—certainly; sarvatra—everywhere; tathäpi—still; vaàçé—vataù—
               Vaàéçvata; anitmäni—near; eva—certainly; naöanti—dance; manye—I
               think.

            Although the entire shoreline of the Yamunä shines with love of
            Kåñëa, I think the area of Vaàçévaöa not only shines, but actually
            dances in ecstatic love.

                                         Text 85

                              sarvatra kuïjottama-mandireñu
                             våndädayaù praty-aham eva säram
                              çayyädikaà yä racayanti citraà
                             citraà sa kåñëo 'pi yad-ékñaëe syät

               sarvatra—everywhere; kuïja—in the groves of Vraja; uttam—in the best;
               mandireñu—palatial buildings; våndä-ädayaù—Våndä-devé and the other
               gopés; prati-aham—every day; eva—certainly; säräm—the best; çayyä-
               ädikam—beginning with resting arrangements; yäù—who; racayanti—
               construct; citram—wonderful; citram—wonder; saù—He; kåñëaù—
               Kåñëa; api—also; yat—of which; ékñaëe—in the sight; syät—is.

            Every evening Våndä-devé and the other gopés make elaborate
            arrangements for Çré Kåñëa to take rest in the beautiful forest-
            palaces of Vraja. When He sees this He becomes struck with wonder.
