d. Run out of plate spring bushing
• Check if the plate spring bushing is worn. If yes,
replace it.

4. Check the rear plate spring

The inspection of the rear plate spring is the same as that of the front plate spring.(See Chapter FR Frame,
Suspension and Wheels - Front Suspension - Front plate spring Assembly, Service)
5.Assembly of the rear plate spring

a. Install the plate spring bushing.

b. Use a steel brush to remove dirt and rust on the plate
spring.

c. Apply a suitable amount of graphite grease to both
sides of each plate spring.
