Rear Plate Spring Assembly IN
Check and repair
DI
1. Remove the rear plate spring
a. Lift with a jack the rear axle, until the plate springs is in a free state. EG
b. Use the safety stool to support the rear end of the crossbeam.
c. Slowly lower the jack. TR
d. Remove the u-bolt fixing nut of rear plate spring,and
remove the u-bolt of rear plate spring and cover. AX
Caution
Check the u-bolt of plate spring for deformation, FR
cracks, damaged threads, and if necessary, replace.

e. Remove the rear supplementary plate spring assembly.

f. Remove the supplementary plate spring base plate.
g.Remove the bent-neck grease nipple of plate spring pin
on the front end of rear plate spring.
