1. Removing the steering drag link
a. Use a needle-nose pliers to Remove the cotter pin of the EG
hexagon slotted nuts at the lower end of the pitman arm.
Caution
TR
Do not reused the dismounted split pin.

b. Remove the hexagon slotted nuts of the steering drag
link ball joint.

c. Use a ball joint disassembly tool to Remove the
steering drag link ball joint from the pitman arm on the
BR
steering gear.

d. Use the same method to separate the ball joint end of
the steering drag link connected with the front axle drag
link arm.
e. Remove the steering drag link assembly.
2. Removing the steering tie rod assembly
a. Remove the cotter pin of the locking nut of the steering
arm ball joint.
b. Remove the locking nut of the steering tie rod ball
joint.
Caution
Do not reused the dismounted split pin.
