c. Use the ball joint disassembly tool to lift the steering
tie rod ball joint out of the steering arm.

d. Use the same method to Remove the ball joint at the
other end of the steering tie rod. Remove the steering tie
rod assembly.

3. Removing the ball joint assembly from the front
end of the steering link.

a. Fix the steering link assembly on a bench vice. Use
a wrench to loosen the fixing bolt of the ball joint clamp.
Caution
When disassemble the steering link ball joint,
corresponding marks shall be made on the parts to
ensure that the ball joint shall be reinstalled with the

same angle and length as before.
b. Use the socket to hold the bolt of the ball joint
assembly bolt. Rotate the socket to unscrew the ball joint
assembly from the front end of the steering drag link.
Caution

The ball joint at the end of the steering drag link is
cold-clamped with the steering link and does not need
disassembling. The assembly shall be replaced if the

ball joint gets loose or the thread is severely damaged.
4 Installing the ball joint assembly
a. Fix the link on a bench vice. Mount the ball joint into
the place where the marks were made when disassembly.

b. Tighten the fixing bolt on the ball joint clamp.
