ST-28 Steering system- Steering Mechanism

5. Removing the steering knuckle assembly

a. Remove the fixing bolts of the front brake chamber
bracket. Remove the front brake chamber bracket.

b. Remove the threaded elbow grease nipple from the
lower cover of the steering knuckle.

c. Remove the lower plug cover bolts of the steering
knuckle pin. Remove the lower plug cover of the steering
knuckle pin.

d. Remove the fixing nut from the locking latch of the
steering knuckle pin.

e. Punch out the locking latch of the steering knuckle pin.

f. Punch out the steering knuckle king pin with a brass
rod.
