Steering system- Steering Mechanism ST-21

k. Install the steering column and the intermediate

steering shaft on the intermediate steering shaft cover.
Install the fixing bolts on the steering column bracket. DI
Torque: 25~30N•m

l. Mount the lower fixing bolt of the steering column

bracket.
m. Tighten the upper and the lower fixing bolts on the FR
steering column bracket.
Torque: 25~30N•m ST

n. Mount the harness bracket. Mount and tighten the

fixing bolts.

o. Connect the plug & socket connector of the ignition
switch.

p. Fix the harness onto the bracket.

8. Install the assembly of combination switch (refer to “Chapter ST steering system-steering
mechanism-combination switch, replacement”)

9. Install the assembly of steering wheel (refer to “Chapter ST steering system-steering
mechanism-steering wheel, replacement”)

10. Switch on the master switch of switch
