c. Remove the right guard assembly mounting screws.
d. Remove the mounting buckle with a pry bar and remove
the right guard assembly.

10. Remove the control panel assembly
a. Pry the fixing fastener of control panel assembly with a
crow plate.

b. Disconnect cruise switch connector and remove control
panel assembly.

11. Dismount the radio cassette player (refer to “Chapter EL electric system-electric parts- audio
system-radio cassette player, replacement”)
12. Remove the tachograph (see “Chapter EL Electrical System - Electrical Components - Audio
System - Tachograph, Replacement”)
13. Remove air conditioning control switch (see “Chapter EL - Electrical System - Electrical
Components - Heater and Air Conditioning – Air Conditioning Control Switch, Replacement”)

14. Remove the upper dashboard trim assembly
a. Remove the upper dashboard trim assembly mounting
buckles with a pry bar.
