Change IN

1. Switch off the ignition switch
2. Recover the refrigerant (refer to Chapter EL electric system-electric parts-heating and DI
AC-refrigerant, replacement”)
3. Open the front flip-over cover assembly EG

4. Removing the A/C expansion valve
a. Remove the fixing nut for connecting the A/C high and TR
low pressure tubes with the expansion valve.

b. Remove the fixing bolts from the expansion valve.

c. Remove the expansion valve.

5. Check the expansion valve if following failures are present. Replace the expansion valve if necessary.

a. The expansion valve is blocked.

b. The refrigerant leaks at the expansion valve.

6. Installing the expansion valve

a. Put the expansion valve into place.

b. Mount and tighten the fixing bolts for the expansion

valve.

Caution

Replace with a new O-ring and coat suitable

refrigeration oil.
