EL - 224 Electrical system –circuit
IN System description:
Put the ignition switch into ON/ST position, the current is output from the pin 87 of the IG1 relay R10, and
DI through the fuse F11 to pin 85 of the washer relay R06. The pin 86 is earthed. Then the washer relay coil is
powered up to close the contacts. The battery provides power supply through the windshield wiper relay
and windshield wiper high/low relay for the washer relay.
EG
The battery current is output from the fuse F\L2 in the vehicle frame fuse box through the fuse F01 in the
instrument panel fuse box, to the pin 30 of the low speed relay R07 of the windshield wiper, so that to provide
TR power supply for the windshield wiper assembly; the other way of current goes through fuse F10 in the
instrument panel fuse box to the pin 30 of the relay R06 for the windshield wiper so that to provide the power
AX supply for the washer motor.
Wiper switch LO speed position
FR When the combination switch of the windshield wiper is at low speed position, the pin 8 of the wiper
combination switch B030 is earthed. The signal is output from the pin 7 of the wiper combination switch
B030 to the pin 15 of the vehicle body control module B061, so that to provide wiper low speed signal; then
ST
the signal is output from the pin 9 of vehicle body control module B061 to the pin 86 of the wiper low speed
relay R07. The coil of the relay R07 is powered up and magnetic field is generated to close the contacts. The
BR current is output from the relay R07, through the pins 30 and 87a of the wiper high/low speed relay R07 to
the pin 1 of wiper electric motor assembly B080 and is earthed in the pin 6 of the wiper motor, The wiper
motor now is running at low speed.
BW
Wiper switch HI speed position
EL When the combination switch of the windshield wiper is at high speed position, the pin 8 of the wiper
combination switch B030 is earthed. The signal is output from the pin 5 of the wiper combination switch
B030 to the pin 4 of the vehicle body control module B061 and the pin 86 of wiper high/low speed relay R01,
so that to provide wiper high speed signal; the coil of the wiper high/low speed relay R01 is powered up and
magnetic field is generated to close the contacts. The current is output from the pin 87 of the wiper high/low
speed relay R01, to the pin 2 of the wiper electric motor assembly B080 and is earthed in the pin 6 of
the wiper motor. The wiper motor now is running at high speed.
Wiper switch washer position
When the wiper combination switch is at washer position, the pin 8 of the wiper combination switch B030 is
earthed. The pin 8 and pin 9 of the wiper combination switch B030 is activated and earthed. The current is
output to the pin 1 of the washer motor B066 and washer motor begins to work; at the same time, the current
is output from the pin 9 of the wiper combination switch B030, and is fed to the pin 20 of the vehicle body
control module B061, so that to provide the signal for wiper operation.
