EG - 50 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

30. Disconnect the connection harness of the engine

31. Disconnect the oil return pipe and the oil inlet line of
the engine
Caution

Place a recovery vessel under the oil return pipe and the
oil inlet line of the engine and collect the fuel flowing
from the pipeline

32. Inspect whether the air pipe, fuel pipe, coolant pipe affecting the lifting of the engine and the
electrical appliance wire are completely separated

33. Install the lifting appliance on the front and rear lifting lug of the engine, place the crane in place,
loosen the engine and reconfirm whether the relevant piping connecting to the engine and the electric
appliance wire are all disconnected
34. Disassemble the front suspension fixing nuts on the
left and right sides of the engine

35. Disassemble the rear suspension fixing nuts on the
left and right sides of the engine
36. Use the engine hanger to lift the engine assembly and
move it to a safe place.
