EG - 140 Engine section – Engine (Cummins ISF3.8)

c. Turn and remove the fuel sensor.
Caution

Remove the oil first and place it outside the installation
port to remove the fuel sensor.

d. Disassemble the locking nut of the fastening ring of the
fuel tank.
Caution
Fastening ring is with a little tension, pay attention to
your own safety in disassembly.

e. Use the bracket to pull the fuel tank out.

f. Disassemble the fastening ring of the fuel tank.

g. Use the bracket to pull the fuel tank out.

4. Clean the fuel tank

a. Clean the inside of the fuel tank from all angles with a high pressure water gun to ensure that there is no
impurity in the fuel tank.
b. Dry the fuel tank thoroughly with the compressed air.
5. Check after cleaning
a. After cleaning and drying the fuel tank, observe whether there is damage in the fuel tank, if any, it is
necessary to repair or replace.
b. Check whether there is corrosion or damage in the seal ring of the fuel tank cover, if any, it is necessary to replace.
6. Install the fuel tank

a. Place the fuel tank on the bracket and adjust the fuel tank
to the proper position.
b. Install the fastening ring of the fuel tank.
