Overview

1. The function of the air intake system is to supply pure air to each cylinder as much as possible and EG
evenly.
2. Intake system mainly includes high intake pipe assembly, air cleaner, intake manifold and related TR
hoses.
3. The function of the air filter is to filter out the impurities and dust in the air, for fear that the service

life of the engine is shortened as the accelerate cylinder wear; meanwhile the air filter can also reduce
the induction noise.
4. In the engine functioning, the air enters into the center of the filter through the filter paper from the FR
periphery of the filter, and then into the intake pipe and the impurities are blocked outside the filter.

5. Intake manifold distributes clean air to the air inlet of each cylinder. ST
