Axles, Transmission Shafts - Front Axle AX-25

Check on car

1. Use a torque wrench to check the tightening torque
of u-bolt fixing nut of the front plate spring DI

Torque: 260~300N•m

2. Check the tightening torque of the fixing nut of
front shock absorber FR

3. Check the wheel hub
a. Use the jack to be placed in the front axle position, lift the front of the vehicle to the front wheels off the

ground.

b. Shake the front wheel from left to right, and up and down, check the front hub for any gaps and, if any,

check whether the front hub bearing is loose and worn. (See Chapter AX Axles, Transmission Shafts - Front

Axle / Front Drive Axle - Front Axle - Front Wheel Hub, Service)

c. Use a dial indicator to check the end face runout and radial runout of front rim.
End face runout:≤0.12mm
Radial runout:≤0.05mm
