e. Remove the gasket.

f. Knock on the outer edge of the brake drum with a AX
copper rod and pull it loose to facilitate removal.
Caution FR
Do not apply excessive force when knocking, to avoid
damage to the brake drum. ST

g. Remove the front hub and brake drum while removing

the front hub outer bearing.

4. Check and repair the front hub bearing
a. Rotate the bearing and check the bearing for loose,
crack, or uneven wear. If there is any, replace the hub
outer bearing with the outer ring.
Caution
When performing inspection and measurement, the
parts shall be cleaned.
b. Punch along the inner edge of the outer bearing outer
ring of the hub and punch it out of the front hub.
