AX-30 Axles, Transmission Shafts - Front Axle

c. Clean the mounting position of the outer ring of hub
outer bearing, and make sure there is no dust on the
mounting position.

d. Install the outer ring of the hub to the mounting
position on the hub.

e. Using the tool, knock on the outer edge of the outer
hub of the hub into the fitting position.
Caution

When knocking the outer ring of bearing, avoid
knocking the inside of bearing outer ring.

5. Remove the oil seal of front hub

a. Use a straight screwdriver to pry out the oil seal in the
rear hub.
Caution
The removed oil seal is prohibited to re-use.

6. Remove the front hub inner bearing

a. Remove the front hub inner bearing from the hub.
Caution

If the bearing and steering knuckle shaft assembly is too
tight, remove the front hub inner bearing behind the front
hub bearing with oil seal remains on the knuckle shaft.
The bearing puller can be used to remove the hub inner

bearing from the steering knuckle.
