AX-28 Axles, Transmission Shafts - Front Axle

Front wheel hub
Check and repair

1. Jack up the vehicle and disassemble the front wheels (See Chapter FR Frame, Suspension and
Wheels - Wheels and Tires - Front Wheels and Tires, Replacement)
2. Place safety iron stools under the front axle to support the vehicle

3. Remove the front hub and brake drum

a. Remove the fixing bolts and spring washers of front
hub cover.

b. Remove the front hub cover and the cover pad.

c. Remove the cotter pin from the knuckle nut.

d. Remove steering knuckle shaft nut with front shaft nut
socket wrench.
