AX-62 Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle

3. Assemble the differential assembly

a. Apply gear oil evenly over the differential bearing.
b. Install the differential bearing on the differential
case with a bearing punch.
c. Use the same method to install the other side of the
differential bearing.

d. Place the driven gear on the differential case (left) and
adjust the driven gear to align the driven gear with the
bolt hole in the differential case (left).

e. Install the fixing bolts of driven gear and fasten them.
Torque:

Model 16 T 190~210N•m

Model 22T, 25T 146~206N•m
Caution

Bolts should be tightened symmetrically.

f. Install the axle shaft gear and the thrust washer of axle
shaft gear to fitting position.
