AX-60 Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle

d. Remove the thrust washer of axle shaft gear vertically upwards.
d. Remove the axle shaft gear vertically upwards.
f. Measure the clearance between the axle gear shaft sleeve
and differential case (right). (See Chapter AX Axles,
Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle / Rear Shaft - Rear Axle -
Rear Axle Final Reducer Assembly, Measurement)
g. Measure the backlash of planetary gear. (See Chapter
AX Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle / Rear Shaft -
Rear Axle - Rear Axle Final Reducer Assembly,
Measurement)
h. Remove the planetary gear shaft assembly straight
upwards.

i. Remove the planetary gear, the thrust washer of
planetary gear from planetary gear cross shaft assembly.

j. Remove the axle shaft on the other side and the
thrust washer of axle shaft gear vertically upwards.
k. Measure the clearance between the axle shaft on the
other side and the differential case (left).(See Chapter AX
Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle / Rear Shaft -
Rear Axle - Rear Axle Final Reducer Assembly,
Measurement)

1. Remove the fixing bolts of driven gear and differential
case.
