i. Insert a suitable iron bar through the differential

assembly.

j. Lift the differential assembly using a rope.

k. Check the thread damage of final reducer housing which should be no more than three teeth, and for
excessive damage, replace the housing.

l. Check the internal of final reducer housing for obvious cracks, damage, ablation and other phenomena, and
if any, replace.

m. Remove the bearing outer ring on both sides of the
differential assembly.

2. Disassemble the differential assembly

a. Make assembly marks on the two differential cases to
for easy installation of the two cases into their original
places.

b. Secure the differential assembly to the vise.
c. Remove the fixing bolts of differential case and
remove the differential case (right) vertically.
