AX-68 Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle

Rear axle hub
Check and repair
1. Remove the rear axle hub

a. Remove the rear wheel assembly. (See Chapter FR Frame, Suspension and Wheels - Wheels and Tires -
Rear Wheels and Tires, Replacement)
b. Remove the axle shaft and oil seal of axle shaft. (See Chapter FR Axles, Transmission Shafts - Rear Axle /
Rear Shaft - Rear Axle - Rear Axle Shaft , Service)

c. Remove the lock washer fixing bolts.

d. Remove the Adjustment nut, lock washer of rear hub
bearing.

e. Use the rear hub bearing nut wrench to remove the hub
bearing adjustment nut.

f. Remove the hub outer bearing.

g. The rear wheel hub tensioner can be used when the
bearing is too tight, pull out the hub outer bearing and the
rear wheel hub together with the rear drum.
