the three areas of Encampment. All this is referring to anyone,
even if he is great in his Torah knowledge, as was Doeg Edomite

And in perashat Beha’alautcha (ibid., 12:1) “and Miryam and
Aharon were discussing their brother Moshe.” (More) The entire "וֹשְׁפַנ תוֹרָּצִמ רֵמֹשּ וֹנוֹשְׁלוּ ויִּפ רֵמֹשּ"
perashat Shehlach Le’cha (ibid., chapters 13-14) which relates
the incident of the spies. (More) And in perashat Chu’kat (ibid.,
21:5), “and the Nation complained (spoke against) Elokim and
Moshe,” and snakes were sent against them. (Please see Rashi’s שֶׁנֹעָהְו לוּקְלּקִַה לדֶֹגְּב םיִגיִלְפַּמַה םירִָמֲאַמ םירְִשֶׂע
commentary in that reference). And in perashat Tehtzeh (Devarim .םירִוּסֲא םירִוּבּדְִּב לָשְׁכִּנַל
21:10), “when you go to war against your enemy…and guard
yourselves from everything ‘bad’ (23:10),” which Chazal say
refers to ‘evil speech.’ Also in perashat Tehtzeh is contained the הָלְעַמְל וּנְבַת ָּכֶשּׁ ה ַּמִמ ךְֶפֶהְל םָדָאָה גֵהַנְתִמ רֶשֲׁא ַּכ הֵּנִה .א
subject of slander (i.e., a husband claiming his wife committed
adultery) (Devarim 22:19). Moreover, it is written in that perasha לַלְכ ִּב וֹניֵא ,וי ִּפ תֶא רֵמוֹשׁ וֹניֵאֶשׁ וּנְיַה ּדְ ,םיִמדְוֹקַּה םי ִּפ ּדַ ַּב
(24:9) “remember what Hashem your Gd did to Miryam.” And .םיִּיַח יֵלֲע ַּב רָאְשִּׁמ ןוֹרְתִי וֹל ןיֵאְו ,שׁיִא
more in perashat Tavoh (Devarim 27:24) “Cursed is the one who
secretly hits his fellow Jew” which is addressing Lashon Hara. It אָתיִאדְ ִּכ ,םוֹלָשְׁו סַח תוּיִּנֲע ידֵיִל וֹמְצַע איִבֵמ אוּה .ב
is well known that all of the curses of the Torah are preceded by
blessings and the Jewish Nation first proclaimed “Blessed is the וּיְהִי לֵארְָשִׂי ל ָּכ ,ן ֵּכ םִא :ויָדיִמְל ַּת וּהוּלָאְשׁ :הָנ ּקַָה רֶפֵס ְּב
one who does not hit (his fellow Jew in secret).” Thus, one who :וּהְל רַמָא ?לֵארְָשִׂי וּלָּג ערָָה ןוֹשָׁל ןוֲֹע ַּב ירֲֵהֶשׁ ,םיִערָֹצְמ
is careful in this regard will receive (all of Israel’s) blessing.
רָסְמִּנַה יִנָע אוּה ירֲֵהַו ,תַערָָצ ְּכ ןָיְנִעָה הָלוּקְשׁ ,)ן ֵּכ( ןיִא
.םָדָא ידֵי ִּב
Generally speaking, HaKadosh Baruch Hu spoke at great length
and commanded mankind to be just and good which is His goal, אְטֵחַה הֶז רוּבֲע יִשׁיִלְשַּׁה רוֹד ָּמ ַּב םֹּנִהיֵּג ַּב ןוֹדִּנ אוּה .ג
and from this He will have great pleasure because He spoke and
His Will was done. These are the words of the Tanna De’Vei :ח"י קרֶ ֶּפ וּהָּיִלֵא יֵב ּדְ אָנָת ְּב אָתיִאְו .)תוּר לַע םָלְעֶּנַה שׁרָדְִמ(
Eliyahu, in the 28 perek: This is what HaKadosh Baruch Hu

said to Israel – “My beloved children, I lack nothing that I would א ֵּס ִּכ דֶגֶנ ְּכ דַע הֶלוֹעְו ערָָה ןוֹשָׁל םירִ ְּפַסְמ םיִעָשׁרְָהֶשׁ םֵשׁ ְּכ
request of you. What I do ask of you is only that you should ןָתוֹא ןיִלְטוֹנְו הרָוּבְּגַה י ִּפִמ םיִכָאְלַמ וּדרְָי ןֵכ וֹמ ְּכ ,דוֹב ָּכַה
love each other and honor one another and be in fear of each

or disgusting things that would cause you to be flawed forever.” וֹנוֹבּרִ :אוּה ךְוּר ָּב שׁוֹד ּקַָה יֵנְפִל תרֶֶמוֹאְו םֹּנִהיֵּג הָביִשְׁמ הָעָשׁ
For this reason the pasuk states (Micha 6:8) “He has told you,
man, what is good and what does Hashem require of you other ,םֶה ָּלֶשׁ שֶׁנֹע יִפ ְּכ י ּדַ םֶהָל ַערְֹפִל תֶלֹכְי יִל ןיֵא ,םָלוֹע לֶשׁ
