 Because the B’nei Yisrael said of the staff  íÓhÔnÔíñÔ¼ó−ÌþÐôBê ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−e−ÖíÓL
                        For the Israelites were dispersed  ö−ÌþÖïeõÐôñÑêÖþÐNÌ−e−ÖíÓL

                         over the entire land of Goshen  ,öÓLBb ±ÓþÓêñÖ×Ða
 With it Pharaoh and the Egyptians were struck  ó−ÌþЮÌôe íÒ¼ÐþÔõíÖšÖñBa
                              and in a brief moment—  íÖlÔšíÖ¼ÖLÐñe
 with many plagues in Egypt and on the sea.  ,óÖiÔíñÔ¼ÐîóÌ−ÔþЮÌôÐa ³BkÔôíÖnÔk

                             he adjusts the expression  þÖëÖcÔí³ÓêöÑw−Ìz
 but, rather, þevÔa—“ into the rock.”  ,þevÔaêÖlÓê
              as a way of showing respect to the One above.  :íÖñмÖôÐñ ðBëÖkCÓþÓc
