 Since he acted wickedly and in opposition towards Me,  ,−ÌcÐèÓòÐk½−ÌþгÌíÐîÔ¼−ÌLÐþÌíÓLþÔìÔêÑô

 and it is revealed to Me  −ÔòÖõÐñ −eñÖèÐî
 that the nations take no pleasure  ó−Ìñ−ÌñÍê−ÑðÐëB¼ ³BneêÖaÔìeþ ³ÔìÔòö−ÑêÓL
                              because it is an adjective  ,þÖëÖcóÑL êeíÓL−ÑòÐtÌô
 in wholeheartedly repenting,  ,ëeLÖñóÑñÖLëÑñ³Ñ³Öñ  as in: “the thing is too hard for you.” 15  þÖëÖcÔíEÐnÌôðÑëÖ×−ÌkBôÐk
 it is better for Me that his heart be hardened  ,BaÌñíÓMԚгÌiÓL ëB¬
               [15] When he goes out to the water— 16  .äÈîÀéÇnÇäàÅöÉéäÅpÄä [åè]
 so that My signs be increased against him  ,−Ô³B³Bê Ba ³BaÐþÔíöÔ¼ÔôÐñ
                                  to relieve himself,  ;î−ÖëÖšÐòÌñ
 and you will thereby recognize My power.  .−̳ÖþeëÐb³ÓêóÓzÔê eþ−ÌkÔ³Ðî
                         for he made claims to be a god  Ô dBñÍêBôЮԼíÓNB¼ íÖ−ÖíÓL
 This is the way of God:  ,í"ÖaÖwÔíñÓLB³ÖcÌôöÑ×Ðî
             and said that he did not need to relieve himself.  ,î−ÖëÖšÐòÌñC−ÌþÖ® Bò−ÑêÓLþÑôBêÐî

                 He would arise early and go out to the Nile  ½Bñ−ÌòÐñêÑ®B−Ðîó−ÌkÐLÔôe

 “I have cut off nations making their corners desolate . . .  ’BèÐîóÖ³BpÌtenÔLÖòóÌ−Bè −ÌzÔþÐ×Ìí
                   [The plain meaning of íÒkðÔ¼ is:] thus far.  .íÖpÑíðÔ¼
 I said: If only you would fear Me  −̳Bê −ÌêÐþ−ÌzCÔê−ÌzÐþÔôÖê
                        But its midrashic explanation is:  :BLÖþÐðÌôe
 then you (Israel) will accept admonition.”  þÖ½eô −ÌìКÌz
                 “until you will hear [the word íÒk] from Me  −ÌpÓnÌô¼ÔôÐLÌzÓLðÔ¼
 Nevertheless, concerning the first five plagues  ³BòBLêÌþÖí ³BkÔôLÑôÖìÐaöÑ×−ÌtñÔ¼¹ÔêÐî
                          at the killing of the first-born,  ³BþB×Ða³ÔkÔô
 it does not say:  þÔôÍêÓòêG
                    which I will begin with the word íÒ×: 18  ,"íÒ×,,ÐadÖaìÔzÐõÓêÓL
 “God strengthened Pharaoh’s heart”  ,íÒ¼ÐþÔtëÑñ³Óê’íšÑfÔìÐ−Ôî
