         14. At a time when I bring clouds over the earth, ±Óþ¢ÖêÖí-ñÔ¼ö£ÖòÖ¼−'ÌòÎòÞÔ¼Ðaí–Ö−ÖíÐî .ð−  10. These are the histories of Sheim. ó flÑL³¤ÒðÐñB ÞzíÓlÑêƒ.−

                     that never again will flood waters ñe flaÔôÐñ·óÌ− ¶ÔnÔíðB¥¼í¶Ó−ÐíÞÌ−-êGÐî                 after he had Arpachshad, ð flÖLÐ×ÔtÐþÔê-³ÓêB¤ð−ÌñB Þí·−ÑþÎìÞÔê

        and I will see it to remember the eternal covenant ó flÖñB¼ ³−¤ÌþÐa·þÒkÐïÌñÖí− †Ì³−ÌêÐþe      12. Arpachshad lived thirty-five years í¢ÖòÖLó−£ÌLñÐLe L'ÑôÖì− flÔìð¤ÔLÐ×ÔtÐþÔêÐî .ë−

                           17. Elohim said to Noach, Ôì¢Òò-ñÓêó−£ÌíGÍêþÓôê'ÒiÔî .ï−                              after he had Shelach, ìÔñ flÓL-³ÓêB¤ð−ÌñB Þí·−ÑþÎìÞÔê
                       This is the sign of the covenant ·³−ÌþÐaÔí-³B Þê³ê¥Òï                               four hundred and three years, í¢ÖòÖL³B£êÑô¼'ÔaÐþÔêÐîó−flÌ òÖLL¤ñÖL
                 that I have established between Myself −–Ìò−Ña−̳ flÒôÌšÎíþ¤ÓLÎê                         and he had sons and daughters. ñ :³BÞòÖëe ó−£ÌòÖaðÓñB'iÔî

                  [Meaning:] “When it will enter My mind  −ÔòÖõÐñíÖëÖLÎìÔôÐaíÓñμÔzÓLÐk         The former did not raise their hands against God.  ,þÖw−̼ÖaðÖ−e¬ÐLÖõêGelÑê
           to bring darkness and destruction to the world.” 222  :óÖñB¼Öñ öBcÔëÎêÔîCÓ¾Òìê−ÌëÖíÐñ  Whereas, the latter did raise their hands against God  ,þÖw−̼ÖaðÖ−e¬ÐLÖõ ,elÑêÐî
                             [16] Between Elohim  íéÄäGÁà ïéÅa [æè]                                           to wage war against Him. 326  .Ba óÑìÖlÌíÐñ
                     and between every living soul. 223  .äÈiÇçLÆôÆðìÈk ïéÅáe                    [Yet,] the former were deluged [and drowned],  ,eõЬÐLÌòelÑêÐî
           Between [the attribute of] Divine Justice and you.  ,óÓ×−Ñò−Ñëe íÖñмÔôñÓLö−ÌcÔí³ÔcÌôö−Ña  whereas the latter did not perish from the world!  .óÖñB¼ÖíöÌôeðÐëÓêÓòêGelÑêÐî
                              It should have written:  ,ëBzÐ×ÌñBñíÖ−ÖíÓL                          But, [the answer is that] the Flood generation  ñeaÔnÔí þBcÓLêÖlÓê
                  “Between Me and every living thing.” 224  .íÖiÔìLÓõÓòñÖkö−Ñëe −Ìò−Ña          were robbers and there was strife between them.  ,óÓí−Ñò−ÑëíÖë−ÌþÐôíÖ³Ð−ÖíÐîó−ÌòÖñÐïÔèe−Öí
                    But, the following is the explanation:  :BLÖþÐðÌôeíÓïêÖlÓê                             They were, therefore, destroyed.  .eðÖëÍêÓòCÔ×Ðñ
                  If Divine Justice will come to accuse you  ,óÓí−ÑñμèÑþЬԚÐñö−ÌcÔí³ÔcÌôêÒëÖzÓLÐk  But, these 327  conducted themselves with love and friendship,  ,óÓí−Ñò−Ña ³e¼−ÑþÐîíÖëÎíÔêó−ÌèÎíBò e−ÖíîlÑêÐî
                             in order to condemn you,  ,óÓ×гÓêë−ÑiÔìÐñ                      as is written “One language with conforming words.”  .ó−ÌðÖìÎêó−ÌþÖëÐðe ³ÔìÔêíÖõÖN:þÔôÍêÓòÓL
      I will look upon the sign and remember [the covenant]. 225  :þÖkÐïÌòÐî ³BêÖí³ÓêíÓêBþ −ÌòÎê  You may learn [from this] that strife is detested  ³ÓšBñÎìÔnÔí −eêÐòÖOÓ LÖzÐðÔôÖñ
                                                                                                                and that peace is great. 328  :óBñÖLÔí ñBðÖèÐî
                 [17] This is the sign of the covenant.  .úéÄøÀaÇä úBà úàÉæ [æé]
          He [God] showed him the rainbow and said to him,  :Bñ þÔôÖêÐî³ÓLÓwÔíeíÖêÐþÓí            [10] Sheim was one hundred years old.  .äÈðÈLúÇàÀîïÆaíÅL [é]
