                           15. “My master, hear me. −Ìò flѼÖôÐL−¤ÌòÒðÎê .î¬                      and his female slaves, and they gave birth. :eðÞÑñÑiÔîî−£Ö³ÒíÐôÔêÐî

                     as it is said, “Negotiable currency,” 29  ,þÑìBqÔñþÑëÒ¼:þÔôÍêÓpÓL                         “And they were relieved.”  ,eìÖîÐþгÌêÐî
               i.e., they are accepted as a shekel everywhere  ,óBšÖôñÖ×ÐañÓšÓLÐa ó−ÌñÐaԚгÌôÓL          [I.e.,] their orifices were reopened  óÓí−ÑëКÌòeìÐzÐõÌò
               for there are places whose shekels are superior  ,ó−ÌñBðÐböÓí−ÑñКÌMÓL óBšÖôLÑ−Ðî  and they expelled that which needed expelling.  ,³êÑ®ÖñC−ÌþÖvÓMíÔô eê−Ì®BíÐî

                   for it left the possession of a commoner  ¬B−ÐðÓíðÔiÌôêÖ®ÖiÓL                                  Because of Sarah. 335  .äÈøÈNøÇáÀãìÇò
                     to [become] the possession of a king.  .CÓñÓôðÔ−Ðñ
                                                                                                     [Meaning] according to Sarah’s words. 336  :íÖþÖNñÓLíÖþeaÌð−ÌtñÔ¼
                       The plain meaning of the verse is:  :êÖþКÌôñÓL B¬eLÐõe
                         The field and the cave within it  Ba þÓLÎêíÖþÖ¼ÐnÔíÐîíÓðÖMÔíóÖšÖiÔî
         and all the trees came into Avraham’s possession, etc.  :’îèî íÖòКÌôÐñóÖíÖþÐëÔêÐñ±Ñ¼ÖíñÖ×Ðî  333  This could not possibly simply mean that they gave birth, for it is unlikely that they all were due just then.
