[Yaakov] told Lavan all that had happened. :íÓlÞÑêÖíó−£ÌþÖëÐcÔí-ñÖk³'Ñêö flÖëÖñÐñþ¤ÑtÔ½Ð−Ôî 21. Yaakov said to Lavan, ·öÖëÖñ-ñÓêë¥ÒšÎ¼ÞÔ−þÓôê¶ÒiÔî .ê×
“Give me my wife, for my term is completed; −¢ÖôÖ−e£êÐñÞÖô−'Ìk− flÌzÐLÌê-³Óêí¤ÖëÖí

Its Midrashic interpretation is: 91 :BLÖþÐðÌôe and he made a [wedding] feast. :íÞÓzÐLÌôNÔ¼'ÔiÔî
[Yaakov meant:] “If he [Lavan] intends to be deceitful ,êÖë êeí ³eêÖnÔþÐñóÌê 23. When it was evening, ëÓþ flÓ¼Öë−¤ÌíÐ−Ôî .è×
then I, too, am his brother in deception 92 ,³eêÖnÔþÐaî−ÌìÖê−ÌòÎêóÔb he took Leah, his daughter, B flzÌëí¤ÖêÑñ-³Óê·ìÔwÌiÔî
but, if he is an honest person ,êeí þÑLÖkóÖðÖêóÌêÐî and brought her to him [Yaakov]. î−¢ÖñÑêd£Ö³Òêê'ÑëÖiÔî

He consummated the marriage with her. :Öí−ÞÓñÑêê£ÒëÖiÔî
And told her father. 94 .ÈäéÄáÈàÀìãÅbÇzÇå
Because her mother had died ,íÖ³ÑôdÖnÌêÓL−ÌõÐñ 24. Lavan gave Zilpah, his servant to her, B¢³ÖìÐõÌLí£ÖtÐñÌï-³Óêd flÖñ·öÖëÖñö¥ÑzÌiÔî .ð×

Despite all this, it did him no good ,ñ−̼Bí êG öÑ×−ÌtñÔ¼¹ÔêÐî
When he saw that he [Yaakov] had nothing with him, ,óeñÐ×Bn̼íÖêÖþêHÓLÐk
for [in the end] he tricked him. 108 :eíÖnÌþ−ÑþÎíÓL
he thought: “Maybe he has brought gold coins ê−ÌëÑíó−ÌëeíÐïêÖnÓL:þÔôÖê
