 6. Yehudah took a wife for Er, his firstborn, B¢þB×Ðaþ¤Ñ¼Ðñí£ÖMÌêí§ÖðeíÐ−ì«ÔwÌiÔî.î  37 1. Yaakov settled ë flҚμÞÔ−ëÓL¤ÑiÔî.ê æì

 It is my opinion  ,−ÌòÎêþÑôBêÐî  and his descendants at length  ,íÖkeþÎêCÓþÓðÐaî−Ö³BðÐñB³Ðî

 Why did Er waste his seed?  ?B¼ÐþÔï³−ÌìÐLÔôþѼíÖ−ÖííÖnÖñÐî  A person searches the sand  ñBìÔaLÑôÐLÔôÐôóÖðÖê
 So that [his wife] would not conceive  þÑaԼгÌzêHÓL−ÑðÐk  and sifts it through a sieve  ,íÖþÖëÐ ×ÌaBþÐëB×Ðî
 thereby diminishing her beauty.  :dÖ−ÐõÖ−L−ÌìÐ×Ô−Ðî  until he finds the jewel.  ,³−ÌñÖbÐþÔnÔí³ÓêêÑ®BnÓLðÔ¼
 [8] And establish seed.  .òÇøÆæíÅ÷ÈäÀå [ç]  Once he finds the jewel,  ,dÖêÖ®ÐnÓMÌôe
 The son will be called by the name  óÑLñÔ¼êÑþÖwÌ−öÑaÔí  he discards the pebbles from his hand  BðÖiÌô ³BþBþÐvÔí³Óê C−ÌñÐLÔô êeí
                           and takes hold of the jewel. 2  .³−ÌñÖbÐþÔnÔíñѬBòÐî
